About this Event

The COVID-19 crisis challenges all of us to maintain a sound body and mind as we struggle to adapt to the disruption of our life rhythms, limited movement and lack of social contact.

For thousands of years, yogis have used the potent vibrational energy of ancient Sanskrit chants – mantras – to transform the body and mind and awaken the spirit. There is no time like the present to call upon these sacred practices of chanting and meditation.

In this virtual experiential workshop, internationally renowned instructor, Devaki Lammet, will guide you through the recitation of chants to harness the power of sound vibrations.

These sacred sound vibrations in Sanskrit not only tune the tissues in the physical body, but also cleanse your nadis and chakras (energy centers) of your subtle body, calm your mind and transform your emotions.

You will explore a variety of mantras and the concept of gods and goddesses as they have been revered from ancient times through today.

As you learn the meaning and purpose of the mantras, you will chant them in the privacy of your home in call and response format. Devaki will conclude the workshop with deep relaxation and a mantra meditation. A question and answer session will follow the meditation.

Your registration comes with a workbook to practice the mantras you have learned and take notes that are meaningful in your life.
